Who we are
The Heat Pump Suppliers Association New Zealand (HPSA NZ) is the industry voice for heat pump manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers across Aotearoa.
Established to provide a coordinated and collaborative approach to industry development, HPSA NZ brings together key organisations involved in the supply of residential and commercial heat pump technology.
Our members include:
BDT (Mitsubishi Electric), Daikin NZ, Panasonic, Trane Technologies, Fujitsu, Actrol, Fisher & Paykel, Reece, Real Cold NZ
We are supported by AREMA (Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturers Association of Australia).

To accelerate the responsible growth of New Zealand’s heat pump sector by providing a unified industry voice, promoting high standards, and supporting the country’s transition to a low-emissions future through collaboration, innovation, and leadership.
What we do

Engage in consultation processes with government, regulators, and industry bodies.
Promote high standards for product performance, installation, and safety.
Share information and collaborate on key topics such as refrigerants, energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and building regulations.
Encourage the adoption of technologies that contribute to decarbonisation and climate resilience.
Hold regular industry meetings to discuss emerging issues and share insights.
All discussions and activities are conducted in accordance with competition law, with strict adherence to confidentiality and a clear commitment to avoiding any anti-competitive behaviour.
